Abbie Lee’s passion for design began at a young age. Abbie Lee recalls, ” I remember my first trip to Europe when I was 12 years old. I was blown away by the architecture. I used up all the film in my disposable camera on the first day!”
Later Abbie Lee went on to get her Bachelor of Architecture from the University of Tennessee. Additionally she studied abroad at Temple University in Rome, Italy. During her time in Italy she was inspired by the innovation, timelessness, and beauty of centuries worth of Architecture.
Abbie Lee has been practicing architecture over the past 16 years. Prior to starting Paces and Roehm Architecture she worked in New York City and Atlanta, Georgia. Her experience led her to work on a broad range of projects from U.S. Embassies, The 911 Memorial Museum, Luxury Apartments, and high-end custom residential work. She has completed projects in Chapel Hill, NC; Key West, FL; Charleston, SC; Cary, NC; Geneva, Switzerland; New Haven, CT; and Manhattan.
In the words of Abbie Lee, “I have had the opportunity to work on a lot of exciting projects and live in some very exciting cities, and I am thrilled to call North Carolina home!”
When she is not designing Abbie Lee loves spending time with her husband, 10 year old twins, and her Husky (Snowflake).
